WEEKLY AI BRAND RANKINGS

THE SHIFT
When someone researches your category now, the first answer comes from AI — and it names just two or three brands. If yours isn't one of them, you're out before the shortlist even forms.
The catch: there was never a ranking you could check. Until now.
AI already has an opinion about your category. The question is whether you've seen it.

Why now · GEO vs SEO
Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) — also called Answer Engine Optimization (AEO) — is the new layer above SEO. In AI search, buyers get one synthesized answer that names a few brands, not a page of links. A brand can dominate Google and still be invisible when AI gives the answer. GEO is how you show up in that answer.
WHY THIS MATTERS NOW
The only question is whether you can see it.
Buyers ask, AI answers, and you never see the conversation. DECA surfaces what AI says about your category so you can act on it.
If your brand never comes up, buyers quietly assume you aren't a serious option. In AI search, not being mentioned is being passed over.
Buyers increasingly start with one AI answer instead of a page of links. The shortlist forms before they ever reach your site.
With or without your input, models already describe what you do and who you're for. The first step is seeing what they say.
HOW IT WORKS
We measure under fixed conditions each week — then publish the full methodology behind the rankings.
01
We build category prompts around real buyer needs — no brand names included.
02
We run the same prompt set every Sunday (ET) on a fixed model version (currently ChatGPT).
03
We extract recommended brands and positions, then publish DECA Score and Mention Rate rankings.

WHAT'S IN THE RANKING
Every brand in your category on one comparable scale: competitor benchmarking and AI share of voice in a single view, not your own line in isolation. This is AI search analytics built for AI brand monitoring, refreshed weekly.
Rank & weekly movement
#1
Your overall position in the category, set by DECA Score (Rank 1 = highest), with the up or down shift since last week so you see momentum, not just a snapshot.
DECA Score
87.9
How strongly AI recommends your brand in the category. It combines how often you're recommended with how high you rank when you are. 100 means you were named first in every answer.
Mention Rate · Share of voice
72.4%
The share of AI answers that recommend your brand when asked about your category: your AI share of voice, benchmarked against every competitor.
FILTER BY SEGMENT
You might rank #5 overall — but #1 for small teams with the right integration. Each ranking is built from buyer personas, so filtering by segment — business scale, use case, and more — replays only the questions that type of buyer would actually ask. Filter to the segments that matter to you, find where AI recommends you most, and double down there. It's AI search analytics by buyer context, not one dataset sliced different ways.

Generative Engine Optimization (GEO), also called Answer Engine Optimization (AEO), is the practice of improving how often and how prominently AI answer engines like ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, and Perplexity mention, cite, and recommend your brand. It is the AI-era successor to SEO: instead of ranking a web page in a list of links, GEO is about getting your brand recommended inside the AI's answer.
DecaGEO measures the outcome of that work. It is a public, weekly AI brand ranking that scores every brand in a category by its AI search visibility, so you can see exactly where you stand in AI answers and how that position moves week over week.
Most AI visibility tools are private dashboards: you configure a view, connect data, and track your own brand in isolation. DecaGEO is the opposite. It is an external, public standard that scores every brand in a category the same way, on the same schedule, visible to anyone.
That difference matters because a buying decision is comparative. A dashboard tells you your own citation frequency; DecaGEO tells you who AI puts ahead of you and by how much. It is competitive intelligence and AI share of voice in one comparable ranking, not a metric you grade yourself on.
Enter your domain at the top of this page and DecaGEO returns where you stand in your category's AI ranking, free. There is nothing to install, no tag, and no data to connect.
Behind the scenes, DecaGEO asks ChatGPT hundreds of recommendation-seeking questions for your category each week, phrased the way real buyers ask, and records which brands get recommended and in what order. If AI is recommending your competitors ahead of you, you will see it immediately, along with your DECA Score and Mention Rate.
The DECA Score is a 0 to 100 measure of how strongly AI recommends a brand in its category. Each time a brand is recommended in an answer, it earns points based on its position, with first place earning the most. Points are summed across hundreds of weekly responses and normalized, so a score of 100 means the brand was recommended first in every answer.
Only genuine recommendations count toward the score. Passing mentions, head-to-head comparisons, and negative references are excluded, so the number reflects real AI endorsement rather than raw mention volume.
AI share of voice is the percentage of relevant AI answers in your category that recommend your brand, relative to every brand mentioned including competitors. It is the GEO equivalent of organic market share.
On DecaGEO, your Mention Rate is your AI share of voice, and your DECA Score weights it by how highly you rank when you appear. Both are benchmarked against every competitor in your category and refreshed weekly, so you can track citation frequency and competitive positioning over time, not just a one-time snapshot.
Traditional SEO is about ranking your pages in a list of blue links using backlinks, keywords, and page rank. GEO is about whether AI recommends your brand inside a synthesized answer, a different surface decided by large language models rather than Google's web index.
The metrics differ too. SEO measures keyword rank and organic traffic; GEO measures DECA Score, Mention Rate, and AI share of voice. A brand can dominate Google search yet be invisible when a buyer asks ChatGPT for a recommendation, which is exactly the gap DecaGEO surfaces.
DecaGEO launches on ChatGPT (model GPT-5.4) for the United States in English, refreshed every Sunday (ET), starting with 10 SaaS categories. We start with ChatGPT because it carries the most buyer queries.
Claude, Gemini, Perplexity, and Google AI Overviews are on the public roadmap, so your AI brand monitoring will span every major answer engine as coverage expands.
Yes, the terms are used interchangeably. Answer Engine Optimization (AEO) and Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) both describe optimizing for AI answer engines instead of search result pages.
DecaGEO measures the outcome of AEO and GEO efforts: your AI search visibility, published as a public weekly ranking you and your competitors can both see.
Rankings update weekly, every Sunday (ET). Each ranking shows your current position and the up or down movement since the previous week, so you read momentum, not just a snapshot.
There is nothing to install. No tag, no integration, and no manual data entry. You get a free AI ranking report the moment you sign up.
It means AI is already recommending them ahead of you in the answers buyers see. In a zero-click AI answer, that shortlist is often the entire consideration set, so being absent is an active competitive gap, not a neutral state.
The fix is Generative Engine Optimization: improving how AI understands, trusts, and cites your brand. Joining the waitlist gets your category and your position surfaced first, so you know your starting line and can track every weekly gain.
Buyers increasingly start product research inside AI chat instead of a search engine. When they ask for a recommendation, the AI returns a short list of brands, and that list is often the entire shortlist they consider.
If your brand is missing, you lose consideration before a buyer ever reaches your site, and absence can read as a signal that you are not a leading option. DecaGEO shows whether you appear, where you rank, and who is being recommended ahead of you.
Improving AI visibility is the work of Generative Engine Optimization (GEO): publishing clear, answer-ready, authoritative content, earning credible third-party mentions, and making your brand easy for models to understand and trust. Strong technical SEO and structured content help AI parse and cite you.
DecaGEO is the measurement layer for that work. It does not rewrite your content; it shows your DECA Score, Mention Rate, and weekly movement so you can tell whether your GEO efforts are actually moving your position in AI answers.
It depends on where you start. Brands with a solid content and technical foundation often see movement within a few weeks, because AI engines can parse and cite well-structured, authoritative content faster.
Because DecaGEO refreshes weekly, you can watch your position change over time instead of guessing. Tracking week-over-week movement is the most reliable way to know whether your GEO work is paying off.
Start where your buyers actually are. For most B2B brands that means ChatGPT first, with Gemini, Perplexity, and Google AI Overviews close behind. DecaGEO launches on ChatGPT (GPT-5.4) because it carries the most buyer queries.
Visibility is not identical across engines: you can be well recommended on one and invisible on another. As coverage expands to Claude, Gemini, Perplexity, and Google AI Overviews, DecaGEO will let you compare your standing across every major answer engine.
